Access & Aggregation Networks
Over the past years, we have won multiple tenders for provincial
Access & Aggregation networks. We have successfully implemented
some very large networks requiring extensive flexibility and
extremely complex project management. These networks create
hundreds of thousands of broadband access ports all over the
country, renovate critical parts of the customer's network
infrastructure, and give the customers a great revenue generation
platform.
The provincial networks includes core, aggregation and access
layers. The equipment deployed includes Carrier-class MPLS Routers,
MPLS Switch-Routers, DSLAM, BRAS, AAA and integrated Network
Management System. The main implementation goals of these networks
include:
- Basic IP Services including web, Email, FTP, Enterprise Portal,
and other applications
- High speed internet services for enterprises, small/medium
business, IDC, PAP, ISPs and of course home subscribers in rural
and urban areas via xDSL technology
- Intranet services
- Advanced services Including VOD, IPTV, Video conferencing, and
VoIP
- VPN services
In some provinces, we have installed and commissioned over 200
sites, which is a testament to our project management capabilities.
The AHS DNC Division is now fully prepared to tackle even larger
network projects using the technologies of tomorrow.
